Corrections Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

We aim to be accurate, but mistakes happen and financial rules change. This is how we handle them.

Reporting an error

If you think something on The Pennyfy is wrong, out of date or unclear, email contact@thepennyfy.com with the page link and what you believe is incorrect. If you can, include the official source.

What we do

  • We check the claim against an official source.
  • If we find a factual error, we correct the article and update the “Last updated” date.
  • For a material error, meaning one that could affect a financial decision, we add a short note at the bottom of the article saying what changed and when.
  • Minor changes such as typos or formatting are corrected without a note.

What we do not do

We do not hide corrections or change the meaning of an article without showing that it was updated.

Out of date information

Rates, tax allowances, thresholds and product terms change often. If you notice something has changed before we have updated it, please tell us.
